S’a’u’w’a, Benvendidos, Maligayang Pagdating, Welcome:
The 2026-2027 school year brings a new vision for students at PACE High School. First and foremost, we want to thank our community for the new building that we will be begin using this school year. If you are interested in a tour, please stop by the office and we will be glad to show you around. Having a new building helps us move forward in a positive direction and is the first step in a new vision for our students.
PACE has begun a transition to a clear, rigorous instructional framework but in an alternative learning environment for the students in the Wapato community. This means that we offer programming that is challenging, flexible, and helps students meet graduation requirements but more importantly, provides students with options after graduation.
We have been working hard to improve our craft as instructors so that the students of Wapato become more prepared to participate in the global economy. We have learned new ways to help students organize their thinking, develop language skills to help them express their understanding and knowledge, as well as commit ourselves to developing core values and guiding principles that focus on your students’ success.
Our focus this year will be on universal design for learning which means we will help your students in the categories of engagement, representation, and action & expression. Your students will be sharing with you the different projects that help them with their learning and asking you to join them during school functions.
We look forward to our partnership in educating your students. We continue to invite our community, parents, and students to engage with us here at PACE during events. We also encourage our community to come to PACE for assistance with any educational processes or questions.
Sincerely,
Eric Larez
Principal
