What an amazing turnout for the first annual PACE High School Tamale-Making Contest! The aroma, the flavor, and the love that went into each tamale truly filled our cafeteria!  
The winners of this year’s contest are: 1st Place the Jaramillo Family for its pork tamales, 2nd Place the Garcia Family for its chicken tamales and 3rd Place the Herrera Family for its red pork talmales.
Congratulations to our talented cooks whose delicious creations captured the hearts (and taste buds!) of our judges and students.
You reminded us once again that our community is strongest when we come together — one tamale at a time! Can’t wait to see you next year!
